The ASCER Ceramics Architecture and Interior Design Award took place last February 12th, along with the CEVISAMA fair in Valencia. Pol Femenias Architects was awarded with the first prize in the Architecture category for the project of Remodelling Riera La Salut (Sant Feliu de Llobregat). The jury considered “the solving of a large scale problem with the design of small ceramic pieces that with its repetition and its assembly become a urban element, wether in a form of a ceramic lattice or a ceramic wall, being able to solve different situations in a uniform way. With an affordable material a creative solution is achieved, that brings quality and enriches a urban space.”
